Te Puāwai—Plant Nursery Coordinator

Are you passionate about native plants, kai growing, and community connection? CILT is looking for a hands-on coordinator to manage Te Puāwai, our native plant nursery.

In this role you will grow and maintain native plants and kai, coordinate volunteers and community activities, facilitate wānanga, and build relationships with iwi, schools, and local organisations. A knowledge of horticulture, tikanga Māori, and the maramataka is essential.

This is a part-time role of 20-30 hours per week, with some flexibility around how those hours are structured.

If you're organised, love working outdoors, and care about sustainability and community wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.
